The weather at Lake Skinner has been pleasant with temperatures in the mid 80's. It was perfect for anglers who were targeting Largemouth Bass. They were on the bite at Launch Ramp 2, by boat or from shore, if you were using chicken liver or nightcrawlers. Bluegill were slow this week. However, the recent stocking of Catfish has seen the catfish catch pick up. They are hitting on chicken liver at catfish alley and along the Ramp 2 area.

The photo this week shows John Sheldon displaying his 6.5 lb. Largemouth which was caught at the East End.
