Catfish: Catfish action has remained slow this week with only a few catfish being caught.
Largemouth Bass: No reports
Crappie: No reports
Bluegill/Redear: Few bluegills are starting to be caught by those using mealworms.
Carp: No reports
Other: The county will be stocking 750 pounds of catfish every other week from May 24th to Oct 25th.
California State fishing license is required and state fishing regulations apply for fishing. Hard bottom boats up to 16 feet are allowed, no gas engines allowed.

Fish Report from Prado Lake, April 17, 2012
Prado LakeTrout action at Prado Lake has been fair to slow with only a few fishermen having success. Fish have been having 1 to 2 lbs. with the majority of fish being caught in basin #2. The best baits have been rainbow chartreuse and orange powerbait. Some catfish are starting to show all over the lake on nightcrawlers and mackerel for those who are angling for them.
