Trout action at Prado Lake has been fair to slow with only a few fishermen having success. Fish have been having 1 to 2 lbs. with the majority of fish being caught in basin #2. The best baits have been rainbow chartreuse and orange powerbait.

Some catfish are starting to show all over the lake on nightcrawlers and mackerel for those who are angling for them.

The final county plant will be April 19. A California state license is required and state regulations apply for fishing. Hard bottom boats up to 16 feet are allowed, no gas engines allowed.
