Upper Lake Water Temp: 72-74 degrees
Lower Lake Water Temp: 71-73 degrees
Fishing had been great for weeks now. There have been tons of Largemouth action all over the fish Arm and at the West Ramp, Main Ramp and the Lower Lagoon. Berkley power worms have been working great in Elizabeth Canyon and in Utopia. Nightcrawlers seem to be the bait of choice for most anglers and a few anglers have roped in a couple of fatties.

The Striper bite has been the best it has been all year. Anglers are using sardines and shad and dropping them 40 to 100 feet to catch Stripers from C-Point, Sharron's rest and the buoy line. Anglers are also reporting some small Striper boils happening in the early morning off the points and around Kong Island. In the afternoon the bite slows down for a few hours but takes off around 5:00 PM and the Largemouth start biting top water all along the shoreline.

The Lagoon is still doing great in the PM hours throughout the night. Swimbaits are the best way to hook up with a Lunker and the better spots have been around the spillway to Castaic Creek and back near the RV campsites.
