Bass are still biting well in almost all area of the lake. Jigs, Texas rigs, shallow cranks and top waters have all been working well both early and late. Most fish are holding in 1' to 10' of water.

Trout have moved a bit deeper and the best area this week was around the dam. Dodger/crawler, and dodger/needlefish combos trolled as deep as 4 colors and drifted worms had the best results.

Catfish are still taking mackerel in creek channels and shallow coves. Crappie anglers did well in the back of Cachuma Bay as well as the narrows and Santa Cruz Bay. Trolled C.D. 3 Rapalas and mini jigs were the baits of choice. Bluegill have been showing in the shallow coves and jack rabbit flats. Bowfishing for carp has been good with early morning and late evening being the best times. The buoy lines in Santa Cruz, the narrows and around arrowhead islands have been the choice locations.
