Lower Lagoon Water Temp: High 50's
Last Plant: The Department of Fish & Game last stocked the main ramp of Upper Lake on April 26th

The largemouth bite was great once again this week all throughout the Fish Arm. Pete's Point has been great for fishing largemouth's off of their nests. There has been a consistent buzz about this area all week. Hawk's Nest is back on the map with many people catching trout off of Salmon Egg PowerBait and largemouth off of Motor Oil Berkley Power Worms. Nightcrawlers are still the go-to bait for any species of fish in the lake, specifically great for largemouth.

Catfish have been biting on Mackerel and Anchovies off of Suicide Point and near the cliffs of the Ski Arm this week. The best time for fishing the upper lake has been within the first 3 hours of the lake opening. Fishing at the lagoon has been consistently great with the Marabou Jigs making a huge impact on bringing them in. The best time to fish the lagoon has been from an hour before sunrise til' about 9:00 AM with the most consistent spot being the back of the lagoon.
