The largemouth bite was great this week all throughout the Fish Arm. Coash Cove and Elizabeth Cyn are great coves to find some smaller fish but there are plenty of them. Hawks Nest and Utopia have had bigger catches on plastics like motor oil Berkley Power Worms and Ox Blood Robo Worms. Nightcrawlers are working all over for many different species including a few stripers that were caught around the west ramp in the evening.

Catfish still have a solid bite going on at the buoy line on anchovies and sardines with an occasional striper mix. The lagoon fishing has been great during the morning hours on Robo Worms and in the evenings the largess are biting swimsuits near the back of the lagoon by the RV campsites. And don't forget this weekend is the Tom Stout Memorial fishin' and fun for kid's event at the Main Ramp of the upper lake on Saturday May 5th.
