BIG Trout of the week goes to: Jeffrey Vangyi of Santa Ana with a 13lb 05oz trout that was caught on a smokin' orange jig/worm combo float tubin' in the flats. Albert Rodriguez of Garden Grove weighed in a 11lb 08oz trout soaking salmon eggs and garlic scent off the shoreline in zone 2. Mark Arnold of Rancho Santa Margarita caught a 10lb 10oz trout twitching an orange and white power mouse in zone 2. Arthur Samakian of Los Angeles weighed in a 10lb 02oz trout soaking green power bait in zone 3. Raenette Johnson of Orange topped off her 5 fish limit wuth a 10lb trout caught on rainbow power bait in the flats off a boat. Behdad Khojasteh of Lakewood landed a 10lb trout using a 'hot perch' tail dancer in the flats. 14 trout in the 5lb to 9lb class were also weighed in at the scales last week!

More MONSTER trout went into the lake on Tuesday March 20th! Trout fishing continues to be awesome with 5 fish limits the 'norm' and plenty of BIG trout coming to the scales EVERY day!! BASS Fishing has gone off the hook the past couple of weeks. Large numbers of quality bass to 12lbs in size have been seen and caught along the heavy cover around the perimeter of the lake. Fisherman targeting Bass are reporting 10 to 20 fish days throwing plastic worms around both islands and in heavy cover along the back side of the lake. OUR BASS FISHERY IS BACK!!!!!

BLACK CRAPPIE has been 'wide open' the past several weeks with a massive spawn of baby crappie hanging out under the boat dock and SLAB crappie to 3lbs in size being caught in the middle of the lake! Its going to be a GREAT Summer!!!
