STOCKING DOZENS OF DOUBLE DIGIT TROUT EVERY WEEK!

BIG Trout of the week goes to Brad Dew,pictured above of Huntington Beach with a 14 lb'er that hit a night crawler in zone 1 off the shoreline. Mike DeVereaux of Mission Viejo weighed in a 13 lb 10 oz trout that hit a sc shiner crank bait in the flats off a boat. Mathew Duprez of Gardena caught a 13 lb 06 oz trout tossing a panther martin spinner off the shoreline in zone 2. Danny Mun of La Mirada caught 2 double digit trout last week with a 12 lb 13 oz that hit a norman crank bait in the flats and a 11lb 03oz that hit a pink mirror shad crank bait in the flats. Refugio Garcia of Laughlin caught a 12 lb 04 oz trout soaking rainbow power bait in zone 2. John Lacey Jr of Costa Mesa landed a 12lb trout using a Lip Ripperz trout worm in zone 2. Fernando Brito of Stanton nailed a 11 lb 12 oz trout that hit a Trout King mini jig in the flats via float tube. Rick Rabagu of Corona caught a 10 lb 08 oz trout soaking chart. Power bait in zone 1. Peter Guerrero of Wilmington caught a 10 lb 07 oz trout on a sc shiner crank bait in the flats. Ichiro Shintsubo of Irvine weighed in a 10 lb trout using chart. Power bait in Zone 3.

Another fantastic week of trout fishing last week with 12 'double digit' trout weighed in at the scales. Trout continue to chew night crawlers and any color Power Bait dipped in garlic scent. BIG Trout continue smashing crank baits with the Mirror Shad and SC shinner working best. Fly fisherman continue to hammer fish in the flats using bead head midges in black, olive, grey and red patterns. Water temp is currently 56 degrees with 4 - 6' visibility.
