STOCKING DOZENS OF DOUBLE DIGIT TROUT EVERY WEEK!
BIG Trout of the week goes to Jubanl Serrado of Tustin with a 14 lb 03 oz trout that hit a chrome kastmaster. Eytan Rosenburg of LA weighed in a 13 lb 02 oz trout that took red glitter power bait in zone 2 via float tube. Jihn Coyan of Laguna Niguel caught a 13 lb trout soaking yellow power bait in zone 1. Miguel Valencia of Santa Ana caught a 13 lb trout twitching a Trout King mini jig at the launch ramp. James Meigs of Newport Beach weighed in a 12 lb 02 oz and a 10 lb 08 oz trout throwing a crappie jig in the flats. Armando Ramirez of Garden Grove caught an 11 lb 05 oz trout twitching a Trout King mini jig in zone 2. Dillon Everett of Seal Beach caught a 10 lb 10 oz on a green mini jig zone 3. Mike Torrey of Lawndale caught a 10 lb 09 oz trout that hit a super duper at 3 pipes. Ken Fisk of Anaheim caught a 10 lb 03 oz trout on rainbow power bait in zone 2. Mike Devereaux of Mission Veijo caught a 10 lb trout throwing a sc shiner in zone 3. 15 trout in the 5 lb to 9 lb class were also weighed in at the scales last week. Another fantastic week of trout fishing last week with 12 'double digit' trout weighed in at the scales. Trout continue to chew night crawlers and any color Power Bait dipped in garlic scent. BIG Trout continue smashing crank baits with the Mirror Shad and SC shinner working best. Fly fisherman continue to hammer fish in the flats using bead head midges in black, olive, grey and red patterns. Water temp is currently 56 degrees with 4' - 6' visibility.
