Trout and Bass are the most active on Lake Perris

Bass are being caught on the North shoreline of the lake on Crawdads and Plastic worms in about 13' to 18' feet of water. The trout are still being caught around the shorelines of parking lots 11 & 12 on floating night crawlers and spring green PowerBait. Redear are still a little on the slower side but are still being caught fishing with red worms around the Marina docks and a few reports from off the boats in about 20' to 25' feet of water.

The trout action at the East End (lots 11 & 12) this week has been good due to the recent stocking on Thursday. There have been reports of good Bass action around the shoreline of the marina and at lots 11 & 12. Bass have been hitting on purple drop shot rigs and green plastic worms. Fishing at Perris this week has started to pick up for the Bass that are hitting on the old fashion night crawler and plastic on a drop shot rig. Redear are still a little slow around the lake but are being caught around the east end of the lake on floating nightcrawlers and rainbow, orange powerbaits.
