STRIPER
Striper fishing was okay this week. Cut bait (sardines or anchovies), has still been effective. Trout pattern swimbaits like La Sliders and Huddlestons work well after the trout plants. Mitchell & Guy Deckert caught 6 stripers and an 11 lb largemouth by trolling a swimbait.
TROUT
There was a trout plant February 16th and 21st. The next Mt. Lassen trout stock is scheduled for March 15th. Trout fishing has been good. Powerbait, power worms, mini jigs, and nightcrawlers have all been effective.
