Bass are starting to come up shallow. You can find them on the surface to 20 feet of water. Many bass reported this week ranging from 4-12 lbs. Jigs, plastic worms, and swimbaits (after trout plants) have all been effective. Dropshotting plastics such as; Morning dawn, Martens madness, and Red crawler have been working well!
STRIPER
Striper fishing has been decent. Cut bait (sardines or anchovies), have still been effective. Trout pattern swimbaits like La Sliders and Huddlestons work well after the trout plants. John Carbajal of San Jacinto, in photo # 1 caught a 6 lb striper using worms.
