The Department of Fish & Game stocked the Main Ramp of the upper lake with 3,000 lbs. of rainbow trout. Stripers still haven't really keyed in on the swimbaits yet but the trout are doing very well at both ramps still. Trout are biting on PowerBait and Kastmasters in pretty shallow waters for most of the day.

The few stripers that have been coming in are being caught in the morning hours off swimbaits by the dam. The largemouth are biting in most of the coves but are still pretty picky. They have been caught on senkos and other plastics; the bite has definitely been changing to a reaction bite.

Catfish are biting on Mackerel at the buoy line during the late afternoon. The night fishing at the lagoon is still doing all right but has slowed down a little bit. Nightcrawlers are some creature baits habe been working for the bigger largies.

The dam has been producing a few big ones but most seem to be around...... Read More
