This week at Lake Skinner the trout season began and is doing well. Anglers have been using our trout mallows that we carry at the store and a variety of PowerBaits also sold at the store. Anglers have been catching tout in the coves and between launch ramp 1 and 2. Anglers have been catching limits of stripers over at the Inlet. The next trout stocking will be on November 18th.

Bluegill, Striper & Catfish are hitting at Lake Skinner

Fishing at Lake Skinner has been great this week. Bluegill, Striper and Catfish are all being caught by happy anglers. The bait of choice can be nightcrawlers, chicken liver or anchovies. Some of the hot spots have been near the dam and the inlet fishing from a boat. Shore fishing has been good in the launch ramp 2 area.
