This week at Lake Skinner we had the first stocking of tout at Launch Ramp # 2. Which in return has the stripers showing up more in that area. Cats have been on the move, mostly in the Inlet area. The next stocking of trout will be on November 18th.

Fishing at Lake Skinner has been great this week. Bluegill, Striper and Catfish are all being caught by happy anglers. The bait of choice can be nightcrawlers, chicken liver or anchovies. Some of the hot spots have been near the dam and the inlet fishing from a boat. Shore fishing has been good in the launch ramp 2 area. It was a great week of fishing at Skinner Lake. Plenty of fish were caught and there were a lot of happy anglers who went home with limits this week. Stripers were biting on chicken liver, over at the Buoys by the dam in the early morning hours. Catfish were in abundance as well using chicken livers over at the dam and launch ramp 2 later in the morning. Some Bluegill were caught using mealworms and chicken liver....... Read More
