The recent stocking of trout has meant that the trout bite was good. Bass are on the move but with the colder temperatures your best bet is to go deep. The Bluegill, Redear and Crappie bite has slowed but the size of the fish being caught is good.

Catfish are hitting at Lake Perris this week on both sides of the lake. Trout were stocked on last Friday. You will find the trout near the launch ramps. Where there is Trout you will also find bass on the move around the area. Lake Perris also had the first Striper of the season show up this week, weighing in at 27.5 lbs. Anglers are still pulling in some nice numbers of Redear and Bluegill around the Island in the mornings and ale afternoon. They are hitting on crickets and trout worms.
