Catfish are hitting at Lake Perris this week on both sides of the lake. Trout were stocked on last Friday. You will find the trout near the launch ramps. Where there is Trout you will also find bass on the move around the area.

Lake Perris also had the first Striper of the season show up this week, weighing in at 27.5 lbs. It was caught on a Z Plug by the dam.

Anglers are still pulling in some nice numbers of Redear and Bluegill around the Island in the mornings and ale afternoon. They are hitting on crickets and trout worms. The first trout plant of the season is scheduled for this week. With trout on the run the Bass are more into the East End. With the water temperature dropping every night Bluegills are moving to a little deeper water. You can find the action around the tire reef area.
