Panfish Feast at Lake Perris, Redear and Bluegill are on the Bite

Anglers are still pulling in some nice numbers of Redear and Bluegill around the Island in the mornings and ale afternoon. They are hitting on crickets and trout worms.

Bass are hitting on top water bait in the east end near the launch ramps. Some catfish are being caught around the rocks on the east side of the Island.

The first trout plant of the season is scheduled for this week. With trout on the run the Bass are more into the East End. With the water temperature dropping every night Bluegills are moving to a little deeper water. You can find the action around the tire reef area. The morning bite is the time to be out on the lake for good action. Redear and Bluegill are in the East End of the lake. They are hitting crickets and red worms in about 13' of water.
