Trout limits are the norm at Lake Hemet

Most Anglers are getting limits or near limits of Trout. The best area is by the dam at around 40 feet trolling with spinner bait.
After the almost lake record (11 lbs.) Largemouth Bass cam in two weeks ago at 10 lbs. 8 oz. ,bass have suddenly gotten smaller.
The Lake Hemet water temp. is currently at 62 degrees. Total of 1,500 lbs. of trout were stocked on 10/19 and another 1,500 lbs. on 10/27. We have some great fishing specials that we want you to be aware of: all boats rentals on M thru F are 1/2 off and all camping Sun thru Thur. is 1/2 off including a free 2 hour boat rental.

10-21-2011In addition to the 10 lb. 8 oz largie, Lake Hemet also produces a 10.5 lb. catfish and a 17.5", 1.5 lb Trout are also caught. All were caught at the dam.
