Fishing from shore for trout is working this week. Largemouth Bass catch has improved over the last two weeks with a larger than normal catch rate.

Most Anglers are getting limits or near limits of Trout. The best area is by the dam at around 40 feet trolling with spinner bait. After the almost lake record (11 lbs.) Largemouth Bass cam in two weeks ago at 10 lbs. 8 oz. ,bass have suddenly gotten smaller. The Lake Hemet water temp. is currently at 62 degrees. In addition to the 10 lb. 8 oz largie, Lake Hemet also produces a 10.5 lb. catfish and a 17.5", 1.5 lb Trout are also caught. All were caught at the dam. Most Anglers brought in trout limits this week. The Lake Hemet water temp is currently at 62 degrees. Fish & Game planted 1,500 lbs. of trout this week.
