The morning bite is the time to be out on the lake for good action. Redear and Bluegill are in the East End of the lake. They are hitting crickets and red worms in about 13' of water.
Bass are hitting top water popper until about 11:00 AM off the Dam and points around the lake. Catfish are starting to show up more near Lots 11 & 12 in the evening.

Bluegill and Bass are active at Lake Perris
Lake PerrisStarting October 1st the Park and Marina hours will be reduced. The Park hours will be 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM and the Marina will be open Thursday thru Monday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Less time means fewer Anglers hitting the shore lines but the few that are still coming are getting large numbers of Bluegill and Bass. The action at Lake Perris has been excellent over the past week. Anglers have been catching more and bigger Largemouth Bass at the East End of the lake on buzz baits. Redear continue a "hot" bite at the southeast side of the Island with red/trout worms. Bluegill have made their way back to the Marina docks. Most anglers say crickets have been the best bait.
