Starting October 1st the Park and Marina hours will be reduced. The Park hours will be 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM and the Marina will be open Thursday thru Monday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Less time means fewer Anglers hitting the shore lines but the few that are still coming are getting large numbers of Bluegill and Bass. Bass are hitting at the Points by the Marina on top water baits. Bluegill are hitting best at the East end.

The action at Lake Perris has been excellent over the past week. Anglers have been catching more and bigger Largemouth Bass at the East End of the lake on buzz baits. Redear continue a "hot" bite at the southeast side of the Island with red/trout worms. Bluegill have made their way back to the Marina docks. Most anglers say crickets have been the best bait. Bluegill that have been hotting at the south end of the dam for the past few weeks have slowed down significantly the past week. Jigs with crickets are still the best bait for Bluegill. Largemouth Bass are hitting much better than previous weeks, many have been reported to be hitting top water baits at the east and west ends of the lake.
