Boils, boils, boils!!! Largemouth are boiling all over the lake all throughout the day. In the early morning hours, largies have been boiling off the points and deep in the coves. As usual spooks, flukes, sammies and other top water baits are working great. The late afternoon and evening bite is fantastic all over the lake.
Stripers are still very inconsistent on what they are biting and where. Every day a couple of anglers will catch limits of stripers but have trouble locating those stripers after that day. They are on the move but are biting sardines and anchovies as well as some top water baits.
Panfish can still be found everywhere and are biting on small pieces of nightcrawlers and mealworms. Catfish are also doing pretty well on nightcrawlers and mackerel. They can be found in the back of most coves and all throughout Elizabeth Canyon.

Most of the coves still have tons of largies cruising around pretty shallow but you can find them chasing shad a little deeper around 25 feet. The stripers have been coming up here and there but still...... Read More
