Weather:
Forecasts show sunny skies with temperatures in the high 90's and 100's this week. Moderate to strong winds in late afternoon. Bees and rattlesnakes are out this time of year so always be cautious when going on trails and shoreline! Please come in the Marina store and tell us your fish stories!

BASS
Still getting many reports of 1-3 lb bass. Drop shotting and texas rigging plastics have been very productive. Morning dawn, margarita mutilator, orange crusher, oxblood, and hologram shad are all great colors. Scroungers, flukes, and zara spooks work well first thing in morning. Chris Kelly of Cherry Valley landed an 11.89 lb lunker largemouth near the east dam.

STRIPER
Stripers are starting to show some signs of life. Our lake regulars have been pre-fishing for our Striper King Classic happening on August 27th, they have been scoring limits of stripers on cut bait (anchovies, sardine), and trolled shad-like imitations. Come by the marina store and sign up! Look forward to the bite to break wide open anytime!

CATFISH
Cat fishing is picking up; producing fish anywhere from 5-10lbs. We did however see a 30lb catfish this week brought in. Anchovies, night crawlers, mackerel and stink baits are your best bet.

PANFISH
Bluegill fishing is still excellent. Starting to see some Crappie's showing. Many limits reported with mealworms, crickets, and night crawlers. The East dam and all along shore banks have been great areas for bluegill catches.

TROUT
Trout fishing has been very slow due to warm surface water temperature.
