Surface Water Temp:
73 - 75 degrees

Fish Plants:
We are no longer stocking trout.

Lake Hours:
5:45am-7:00pm

Weather:
Sunny with light wind becoming stronger in the afternoon. Forecasts show temperatures in the high 90's this week. Bees and rattlesnakes are out this time of year so always be cautious when going on trails and shoreline! Please come in the Marina store and tell us your fish stories!

BASS
Large quantities of 1-3 lb fish have been reported this week. Plastic worms such as morning dawn, oxblood, and margarita mutilator have been working well. Wacky rigging senkos or finesse worms have also been productive. Try throwing topwater lures first thing in the morning.

TROUT
Trout fishing has been very slow.

STRIPER
A few small stripers have been reported on cut bait. The shad that were up last week disappeared but, they are showing up on other areas of the lake.

CATFISH
Not very many catfish reported this week. Your best bet is anchovies or mackerel.

PANFISH
Bluegill fishing is even better then last week! Nightcrawlers and crickets are working the best. Nine year old Jordi of Spring Valley Lake brought in two bluegill that he caught with an orange worm. Good job Jordi!
