Catfish
The catfish bite is heating up, and the last week provided anglers with limit style action. Many stringers contained 3 to 4 fish over five pounds, and were caught in almost any cove in the lake. Mackerel and packaged dough baits had the best success rate.

Trout
The lakes hold-over rainbows made a strong showing this past week, and trout were taken with drifted Nightcrawlers, dodger/crawler or needlefish combos down 30 ft. near the dam, and Harveys bay.

Bass
Both large and smallmouth bass moved down to the 20 to 25 ft. level and were biting spoons, jigs, and mini-jigs and red worms had the best results.

Carp
Bowfishing for Carp has slowed a bit, although there were several double digit fish in the count.

Panfish
Bluegill and Redear are plentiful and can be found near any stand of tules. Meal worms and red worms under a bobber had the best results with the panfish.
