Just a good week fishing at Lake Perris regardless of the species

Many species were producing this past week. Largemouth bass continue to hit more frequently around Allessandro Island, top water baits seem to be one of the favorites for the largies. Bluegill and Redear continue to do best around the island as well they seem to like red worms and crickets. The Marina docks have been producing exceptionally well for Bass, Bluegill, Redear and Crappie. Jigs have actually been working well for all four species this week.

6-27-2011As the temperatures have been raising over the past week, the reports of Bluegill, Redear and Largemouth Bass have been rising as well. The best locations have been the East End of the lake with red worms and crawdads for Largemouth and crickets, jigs and red worms for Bluegill and Redear. The action has picked up significantly since last weeks report. Largemouth Bass, Bluegill and Redear all doing extremely well at the East end of the lake with crankbaits for Bass and crickets and red worms for Redear and bluegill. The marina docks have picked up quite a bit as well with Trout coming out all day long for the past few days as well as Crappie using Crappie Stingers....... Read More
