Lake Perris has been good for Panfish and Largemouth

As the temperatures have been raising over the past week, the reports of Bluegill, Redear and Largemouth Bass have been rising as well. The best locations have been the East End of the lake with red worms and crawdads for Largemouth and crickets, jigs and red worms for Bluegill and Redear.
Trout are not being reported that often this week. The Marina docks remain the hottest spot for Crappie with Stingers and other Panfish have been producing in large sizes by the docks as well.

6-20-2011The action has picked up significantly since last weeks report. Largemouth Bass, Bluegill and Redear all doing extremely well at the East end of the lake with crankbaits for Bass and crickets and red worms for Redear and bluegill. The marina docks have picked up quite a bit as well with Trout coming out all day long for the past few days as well as Crappie using Crappie Stingers....... Read More

Overall action this week has been steady with especially for Redear and Bluegill. The best location for the panfish is at the Southwest and Southeast sides of the island with crickets and jigs at 15 feet of water. Most reports for Largemouth are still coming from the East End. Crawdads have been the most frequently mentioned bait. Still only a few Crappie stringers coming out from the Marina dock....... Read More
