Largemouth, Bluegill and Redear are all on the bite at Lake Perris

The action has picked up significantly since last weeks report. Largemouth Bass, Bluegill and Redear all doing extremely well at the East end of the lake with crankbaits for Bass and crickets and red worms for Redear and bluegill. The marina docks have picked up quite a bit as well with Trout coming out all day long for the past few days as well as Crappie using Crappie Stingers.

Overall action this week has been steady with especially for Redear and Bluegill. The best location for the panfish is at the Southwest and Southeast sides of the island with crickets and jigs at 15 feet of water. Most reports for Largemouth are still coming from the East End. The action this week has been consistent and much more frequent for Redear and Bluegill. The East End of the lake has been the hottest spot with mealworms, crickets and red worms. Largemouth can provide large sizes this week but only a few were reported, but the only bait reported was netted shad. Not too many reports or even word about trout.
