Once the weekend brought a bit of heat and sunshine, the action became much more versatile. Redear began hitting at the Marin Docks a little more off of Redworms. Largemouth Bass and Trout continue to hit well. At the East End of the lake, Lots 8 and 9, 6 and 7 and the Marina Docks (Swimbaits & Garlic Nightcrawlers for Largemouth and Red / Yellow Powerbait for Trout

Rate the action based over the past week:
Bass ==> Excellent ==> Average Size: 3 lbs.
Bluegill ==> Poor
Carp ==> Poor
Catfish ==> Poor
Striper ==> Poor
Trout ==> Excellent ==> Average Size: 2 - 3 lbs.

With another week of cold winds and gloomy skies, the panfish action does not seem it could much worse. Just a few redear from the Marina Docks have been reported. The trout and largemouth bass continue to hit quite well at Lots 11 and 12, the launch ramp cove, marina docks and sail cove. Due to the unfavored weather, Lake Perris has been having few anglers. The action has remained with the trout and largemouth bass at lots 11 & 12 and the Launch Ramp Cove. Kastmasters and Rainbow Powerbait have been best for trout and rapalas and garlic nightcrawlers for bass. The panfish action has been quite slow.
