With another week of cold winds and gloomy skies, the panfish action does not seem it could much worse. Just a few redear from the Marina Docks have been reported. The trout and largemouth bass continue to hit quite well at Lots 11 and 12, the launch ramp cove, marina docks and sail cove. Many anglers claiming the darker colored rapalas and kastmasters are working for both species.

Rate the action based over the past week:
Bass ==> Good ==> Average Size: 2 - 3 lbs.
Bluegill ==> Poor
Carp ==> Poor
Catfish ==> Poorr
Crappie ==> Poor
Striper ==> Poor
Trout ==> Good ==> Average Size: 2 lbs.

Due to the unfavored weather, Lake Perris has been having few anglers. The action has remained with the trout and largemouth bass at lots 11 & 12 and the Launch Ramp Cove. Prior to rain and wind that has hit during tail end of the week, the redear began hitting frequently with good sizes off of redworms at the Marina Docks. No reports from any other location. The trout reports have been becoming more frequent form the Marina Docks and the Lauinch Ramp Cove. Kastmasters and Rapalas have been the word so far. Largemouth continue to hit well.
