 ? Big fish of the week - Jordan Valencia, 15 yrs old from Santa Ana landed a nice 6.2 lb rainbow at the launch ramp using chartreuse power bait.

 ? Isaac Newman, 4 yrs old from Burbank caught his first rainbow while fishing with his family at the launch ramp using a Spiderman fishing pole. His choice of bait for the day was chartreuse power mouse. Good job Isaac!

 ? John Joseph and his friends, Alex Wollin, Jason Murphy and Jack Mejoff all from San Diego were lucky that day to all land limits. They were fishing from a boat in the three pipes area and the bubble hole in front of the dock. The choice bait was inflated night crawlers with garlic oil and rainbow power bait.

Fishing this past week was good to excellent with an excellent morning and afternoon bite. The bite did shut down in the early afternoon. The best spots to fish from the shore was the launch ramp, point and from the boats - three pipes, the flats and the bubble hole. The fish have also been hanging out in shallow water. Leaders at about 10-12 inches. The best baits have been night crawlers inflated with garlic oil, chartreuse power bait, rainbow power bait, garlic scent power bait, purple nymph power bait, flat orange and chartreuse power worms, combination of power mouse and salmon eggs.

For the fly fishermen the flats have been the best along with the shallow waters by three pipes. Black and silver midge and the olive midge were the best.

Due to the rains this coming week we will be offering $10 off the all day rate on the boats 12/7 - 12/14.
