The lake held near 85 percent of its storage capacity, and water temperatures rose slightly. Fishing was good with a trout plant on Tuesday. Trout anglers reported easy limits on minijigs, dough baits, and spoons. Other species also improved with the warmer weather. Bass fell for c-rigs, drop shot, and Fat Ikas in 10 to 30 feet of water. Anglers reported some fish up shallow for the pre-spawn. C3 shimmies and slim pros fooled plenty of fish. Rapala DT 10 cranks in citrus shad and crawdad took bass at the island. Striped bass went after cut baits and live worms from shore at the inlet. Trolling deep diving jerkbaits accounted for a few better grade line-sides. Catfish anglers soaked dip bait and chicken liver in deeper coves for good results.
