Isabella Lake held at 27 percent of its storage capacity and the water temps are 50 to 55-degrees. Crappie are still a good bet here. They have moved out deep in 15 to 35-feet of water and can be found near structure. Our sources reported the best action has been fishing the trees with Get Bent Baits jigs and medium to small minnows. For the fish that are holding at the deeper depths, it’s been best with small spoons or crappie jigs. The bass action is fair and can be found out in deeper water around structure and main points. Deep diving crankbaits, trout imitation swimbaits, and big worms with slower presentations have been good choices. Bass have also been coming on dark jigs and underspins with white Keitech trailers at Rocky Point, Piney Point and Engineer Point. The bass in the trees are following the shad schools. The catfish bite remains good on chicken liver, dip baits, and cut baits
