The lake held near 93 percent of its storage capacity and fishing was good. Bass fell for brown and green pumpkin plastic worms on the drop shot and shaky head. Senko style baits took fish in 5 to 15 feet of water along points and bluff walls. Bass anglers also scored bites with crankbaits and topwater lures early in the day. Striped bass ate cut sardines and live worms in 25 to 50 feet of water. Boat anglers trolled umbrella rigs over points to fool zebras in 25 feet of water. Catfish anglers used dip baits, cut anchovies, and chicken liver in deeper coves around the lake.
