The bass action has improved this week at Ming. Our contacts reported scoring fish with 3-inch Keitech easy shiners in baby bass and green pumpkin. Z-Man slim swimz in bad shad and watermelon red on small ball heads have been fooling bass. Drop shotting SXE shad and baby bluegill Roboworms worked for another angler. Later in the day anglers were scoring bass with chatterbaits in green pumpkin and shad colored. Small whopper ploppers and poppers are scoring in the evening. The crappie bite has been solid later in the day with minijigs with nibbles and live shiners. The bluegill bite is excellent on wax worms and meal worms under a bobber. Catfish can be caught with dip baits, chicken liver or nightcrawlers.
