Aqueduct anglers reported good fishing overall with an improving bite for bass, striper, and catfish. The line-sides took cut sardines, anchovies, and jumbo live minnows where fast moving water met calm. Lure anglers fooled striped bass with Fluke style baits on a jig head and white jerkbaits. Largemouth fell for drop shot 4’ curly tailed Roboworms in Aaron’s Magic and Smokin’ Shad. A few topwater bass were reported near check gates during times of lower flow. Catfish anglers reported decent fishing while soaking chicken liver, dip baits, and cut baits.
