Pyramid Lake remained near 85 percent of its capacity, but recent storms reduced water clarity significantly. Bass anglers used darker colored plastics on the Texas rig, drop shot, and shaky head to score bites. White and shad colored jerkbaits and crankbaits took bass up closer to shore on windy days. Striped bass chased down umbrella rigs on the troll. They also picked up cut sardines for shore anglers fishing the marina. Trout anglers used dough baits, minijigs, and spoons to land some fish, and catfish chewed on dip bait, chicken liver, and cut baits rigged Carolina style.
