Fishing was fair at Hart Park with bass and bluegill as the best bets. Largemouth anglers used drop shot, Texas rigs, and Ned rigs to score bites. Wintertime favorites like green pumpkin, watermelon, and black and blue were good color choices. A slower retrieve has also been effective for enticing bites. Bluegill anglers rigged redworms, waxworms, and mealworms under a bobber with a one-to-five-foot leader to fool sunfish. Catfish anglers reeled in a few whisker fish while soaking Triple S dip bait on the Carolina rig.
