This week Isabella held at 34 percent of capacity and Crappie continue to show in good numbers. Our contacts reported scoring slabs in 15 to 20-feet of water near structure. The best action has been around submerged trees with medium to small shiners or minijigs. It was reported that crappie jigs in bright colors have been scoring limits. The bass action is fair and can be found in submerged trees, and out deep around structure. The bass in the trees are following the shad schools. The best action is with Heddon Sonars, spoons, underspins, and deep diving crankbaits. The catfish bite has been very good, although the whiskerfish have been on the smaller side. Catfish have been coming on SSS dip bait and mackerel. Trout have been fair to good. Our contacts reported trout on mini jigs, garlic scented Powerbait, pinched crawlers and spoons.
