Fishing is great at the lakel!! Come grab a rental and catch trout on the troll using rapalas and flicker shad!! Drifting nightcrawlers are working as well as sinking to the bottom. Crappie are biting on small feathered crappie jigs and red worms. Bass are slowing down and being caught using those finesse baits,some swimbaits are working as well as bouncing jigs on bottom. Catfish are still being caught on mackeral  and also chicken liver. Come and get your flsh on at the lake!! 4000 pounds of beautiful rainbow trout at your rod tips come and get em!!

Awesome fall bite happening now at the lake!l!! Stringers upon stringers of beautiful rainbow trout are being brought in daily. Nightcrawlers and floating powerbait are producing nice fish. Trolling rapals are working as well as flickershad! !!!!! CACHUMA LAKE FALL TROUT PLANT HAS ARRIVED!!I! 4OOO POUNDS!!I 4000 pounds of beautiful rainbow trout have been stocked this week ranging from 1/2 a pound to whopping 8 pound trophies!! Trout are being caught on various baits like drifting a knight crawler near the dam or trolling those open coves with a Kastmaster or smaller cd3 rapalas.
