Awesome fall bite happening now at the lake!l!! Stringers upon stringers of beautiful rainbow trout are being brought in daily. Nightcrawlers and floating powerbait are producing nice fish. Trolling rapals are working as well as flickershad! Bass are slowing down and finesse rigs are working best off of those shallow dropoffs and rocky points on the mouths of Johnsons Bay and Little Cachuma. Texas rigs and dropshots are really getting those bass to bite. Crappie have slowed down but are hitting jigs and various small flicker shads on the troll. Catfish still being caught daily and mackeral on bottom is working best. Come and get your boat rentalsl! Yess we are open for rentals on TURKEY DAYYYY 11/24/22!117am-3pm

Cachuma Lake!!!!! CACHUMA LAKE FALL TROUT PLANT HAS ARRIVED!!I! 4OOO POUNDS!!I 4000 pounds of beautiful rainbow trout have been stocked this week ranging from 1/2 a pound to whopping 8 pound trophies!! Trout are being caught on various baits like drifting a knight crawler near the dam or trolling those open coves with a Kastmaster or smaller cd3 rapalas. Cachuma LakeFishing is still great at the lake! Bass are biting well on various baits. You can catch them on finesse baits like using a dropshot with a roboworm in any shad colors or purples like plum and margarita mutulater. Texas rigged sankos are also producing fish in good numbers. Crainkbaits in reds and dark colors working for you leadheads along with rattletraps and spinnerbaits. Trout bite is slows the water temps are still up.
