Fishing is still great at the lake! Bass are biting well on various baits. You can catch them on finesse baits like using a dropshot with a roboworm in any shad colors or purples like plum and margarita mutulater. Texas rigged sankos are also producing fish in good numbers. Crainkbaits in reds and dark colors working for you leadheads along with rattletraps and spinnerbaits. Trout bite is slows the water temps are still up. Catching the trout on suspended nightcrawlers by the dam and also using floating powerbaits.Trolling rapalas is still the best way to land them!! Crappie are still building in the structures and also chasing bait fish in the deeper coves. Catfish are still biting everywhere on mackeral and nightcrawlers on the bottom. Come and get your FISH ON!l!!!

Cachuma LakeFall is here! Water will start to cool down and the bite will be a little different. Bass still schooled up chasing bait fish, but the senko and dropshot has been producing nice sized fish in good numbers! Water Temperature: 71 degrees Cachuma bite is still strong in the end of this summer. The crappie are biting on crappie jigs white and green. Also biting on crappie nibles. The bass bite is picking up with bass being caught in coves around 20 feet using flukes and swimbaits. Trout are biting on nightcrawlers and powerbait.
