Over the past week, the water has cleared up a bit since the previous storms and some smaller striper boils have been seen throughout the lake in deeper water out towards Chumash Island, Yellowbar and Spanish Point. Small kastmasters and flukes have been working well along with worms and various cut baits throughout the day. Bass have become more active along the grasslines around the lake, biting on smaller top water baits and soft plastic set ups as well. Senkos, Roboworms and creature baits hooked up weedless with a small bullet weight or drop shot weight to get down deeper as it gets later throughout the days. Catfish have been biting well on Chicken liver and  cut mackerel throughout the day or even nightcrawlers with a heavy sinker to endure the winds and currents.

Water temperature: 60 degrees
