Trout are still biting decently near the main launch ramp, but in fewer numbers. A few anglers have also been having luck around the ball point area. Power-bait, spinners, and small trout jigs have been producing. The striper bite is going off at a steady rate with a lot of limits lately. Sardines, anchovies, and lug worms have been working best around 40-60 feet. Trolling is also another method used lately to catch some stripers. The largemouth bite has been off and on, with some anglers landing some decent quality fish. Finesse plastics and nightcrawlers have been working best. Most reaction baits have been working first thing and later in the evening, Some anglers have been seeing small bait balls of shad fry. The Catfish have been biting better on the warmer afternoons, with most cut bait and nightcrawlers working best. The bluegill and crappie are starting to make more of an appearance, with the lower lagoon being a better option for these species.
