Pyramid lake held near 90 percent of capacity with water temps in the low sixties. Fishing improved last week, but high-winds made for tough conditions. Bass anglers found willing biters while using Senkos, Texas rigged brown six-inch worms, and Ned rigs. Bass also went for jerkbaits and crankbaits around Chumash after the wind came up. Striper anglers did well on cut baits and nightcrawlers in 25 to 50 feet of water. Most of the action was at the Marina and Yellowbar. Some fish were reported by anglers trolling flies and umbrella rigs. Catfish ate dip bait, chicken liver, and garlic scented nightcrawlers. Trout anglers reported fair fishing at the marina on minijigs, dough bait, and lures.
