Fishing remained steady this past week, however anglers saw a dip in fish over the weekend. Striper are still biting the best, chicken liver seems to be the hot ticket but anchovies are still catching them as well. Anglers all say the fish are deep, put your bait on the bottom, inlet and dam were reported best earlier inn the week, but increasing numbers are being caught in the East End Channel. Cats are picking up a bit as well, Social Security Point was the shore hot spot with cats hitting mackerel and chicken liver. Some bass action still report along the South Shore and bluegills still hitting early morning and late afternoon in the coves, but no large numbers to report.

Lake SkinnerFishing this past week at Lake Skinner had its highs and lows. A couple of days this past week were very slow, with not much coming in at all, however, the other days produced a fair about of striper action. Stripers are still hitting anchovies the best at the dam and inlet, but fishermen have been having luck jigging kastmasters.
