This past week has seen the return of the striper. While not everyone is catching them, several are, and some are coming off the water with limits. Boat is the best way to get to them as the striper are staying near the dam and the inlet for now, mostly hitting anchovies. Some bass still being reported, however, there have been fewer fishermen going for them, so fewer reports. Last heard they are still biting dark plastics along the South Shore and East End. Some cats off of mackerel and some bluegill, but nothing stellar to report on them.
These are the following fish report:
Bass: Good with an Average size of 3 lbs.
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Fair
Catfish: Fair
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Good with an Average size of 2-3 lbs.
Trout: Poor

Striper still...... Read More

Cats are biting the...... Read More
