This past week of fishing was somewhat over shadowed by the Solar Cup event that took place here over the weekend. Fishing reports are somewhat spotty, but it sounds like small striper are once again the main action. Anglers are reporting them mostly around the dam and inlet off of chicken liver, chunked anchovies and worms. More catfish are being caught, at the inlet as well as around the Ramp #2 area. Cats are biting the best off of mackerel and chicken liver. Bass and bluegill still biting in the mornings and afternoons off of worms along the South Shore and back up in the East End.

These are the following fish reports:

Bass: Fair
Bluegill: Fair
Carp: Good
Catfish: Good
Crappie: Poor
Striper: Excellent
Trout: Poor
